Live edit feature
Made a mistake? Not to worry! Use the ‘Live Edit’ feature to amend the message whilst it remains in parents’ inboxes. This feature can be used to correct a spelling mistake or to add any forgotten attachments or photos. Once you have edited the message and published your changes parents who view it on the app or via the web will see the updated version.
When viewing your ‘sent’ messages area, click on the cog icon next to the message and choose ‘Live Edit’ to make any changes. When you are happy with the amended version of the message click ‘Publish’ to update it.
If a parent has already viewed the message, the content will be updated the next time they open it. Parents will not be notified that the message has been amended. The ‘Live Edit’ feature does not update any emails which are sent from SchoolPing.
